About the Heritage Collection
The Whiteriver Heritage Collection brings together the natural beauty of real wood with the stability and versatility of engineered flooring.
Available in 18mm and 20mm constructions, the collection features 190mm wide boards with substantial hardwood wear layers and a durable plywood core.
With a selection of natural, brushed, smoked and stained finishes, Heritage offers a range of appearances to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The collection is suitable for a variety of installation methods, including compatible underfloor heating systems.

Understanding the Construction
Heritage 18mm vs 20mm
The Heritage Collection offers two engineered constructions, allowing customers to choose a floor suited to their project.
Heritage 18mm:
190mm wide oak boards (plus the 189mm Dakota Walnut)
18mm overall thickness
4mm hardwood top layer
Multi-ply plywood core
Floating or glue-down installation
Suitable for underfloor heating, subject to requirements
Heritage 20mm:
190mm wide boards
20mm overall thickness
6mm European oak top layer
Birch plywood core
Floating, glue-down or batten-fixed installation
Suitable for underfloor heating, subject to requirements
Both constructions offer the appearance of solid hardwood with the benefits of engineered construction. Installation suitability should always be checked against site conditions and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Approximately 75% long lengths and 25% nested rows, with one nested row in each pack.
Colours, Textures & Finishes
Every wood floor has its own natural character, shaped by its grain, colour and surface finish.
The Heritage Collection includes a variety of treatments, from natural matt-lacquered oak to brushed, smoked and stained finishes.
Brushed
A textured surface that emphasises the natural grain of the timber.
Stained
Colour applied to the timber to achieve a particular shade.
Smoked
A treatment that changes the colour of the wood, creating depth and character.
Matt Lacquered
A protective lacquer finish with a low-sheen, natural appearance.
Installation & Underfloor Heating
Heritage engineered flooring is designed to provide installation flexibility across a variety of residential and commercial environments.
Depending on the selected construction, installation methods include floating, full glue-down and batten-fixed systems.
Both the 18mm and 20mm ranges are listed as suitable for underfloor heating, subject to the manufacturer’s installation requirements and appropriate site conditions.
Correct subfloor preparation, moisture testing and acclimatisation are essential considerations before installing any real wood floor.
